Purchased with lot from University of Iowa laser/optics lab.

Precision slit apparatus with shutter assembly. Looks like shutter is threaded for c-mount lens.

Micrometer type adjustment for slit seems very accurate.

About 6" diameter at flange. Main body and most components appear to be made of machines brass. About 3lbs.

Screws for cover not included.

Don't know more about this equipment. Please see pics for better description than I can provide. I wasn't able to find any info on Ray Controls Co.

The aperture vanes in the shutter assembly were in pieces and non-functional so we're discarded. The shutter seems to work.
