Vintage ~McCallisters~ Sporting Goods USA Wool Athletic Sweater.
from the 1920's. ~Incredible! Dark Blue wool knit Athletic Jersey Sweater,
designed like a Double V Sweatshirt. Black, rib knit wool Top shoulder
panel & front/back 'V'. (see close-ups) same Black rib knit at waistband,
& sleeve cuffs. 'USA' on front. Red & White sewn-on wool felt Letters.
Very Rare, with possible association to the USA Olympic team of 1924 or 1928 (?)
however i can't be certain. i was not able to find any example of this Top in
any photographs.
Tag Reads: 'McCallisters Sporting Goods' Baltimore, MD.
*several, 'mothing' spots, which are shown in close-up photos. but nothing
too major. also, well-done repaired spot at back/right underarm (pictured)
Preserved very well overall.
Size: *No Size tags intact , Be sure to see measurements below

Underarm to Underarm (across front): 22"
Shoulder to Shoulder (across front): 19 1/2"
Length (From Back Collar/Bottom-seam to Bottom): approx. 29"
Sleeve Length (Shoulder Top-seam to Cuff end): 23" to 23 1/2"
