Hello, here we have for sale a nice pair of World War II Taylor Hobson No.2 MKII binoculars, dated 1941.  

As you can see from the photograph's the binoculars have the usual paint wear but the brass looks really smart I think coming through. 
The lenses are surprisingly good for the age perfectly adequate for watching the birds in the garden. There is a chip on rubber or Bakelite eye piece and the brass surround on the front is a little dented on one side. The strap looks to be in good condition.

A nice piece of military history.
