This is a chance to own an original, Carte de Visite dating to the 1860/70s. It was with a collection of photographs of performers from Theatre and Opera - most of whom would have been celebrities in their day. Whilst many have had their identity verified, this one hasn't but it should be known to a collector in this field. It is a studio portrait by Disderi, Paris with pencil annotation to the rear 'Schneider'. This is just one of a number of interesting CDV and stereoviews on offer this week, all of which are being sold without reserve. Approximate size = 102mm x 62mm.

Condition

Please note that this item is approximately 150 years old and has been used. Overall it is in good condition but there may be light marks / fading / spotting consistent with age and usage. Please refer to the photographs and do not hesitate to email if you have any questions prior to bidding.
