On offer here Is this pair of original antique oak carved panels with frames.

 These Carvings were made in France sometime around 1900 and once would have been part of a very impressive and expensive piece fire surround. 

44cm tall X 41cm wide

They are a set of two each, I am offering the other single panel in my eBay store.  With the original oak frames they have a shield shape carved In very Fine detail they have a central egg-shaped cartouche in a scrolled shield with art nouveau inspired foliage decoration. 

 They are all carved in solid oak in high relief and very good detail, they are in excellent condition and have an warm and even mid brown colour. The depth and detail of the carving is top drawer. 

Condition 

The condition is very good there are no cracks or splits repairs and NO woodworm in fact the condition is excellent with a good patination and a warm even colour.
