At 17, he was already working in the editorial offices of the magazines Pololo and Mustafa. He then became a writer and artist for Editorial Quinterno, especially for the magazine Patoruzito. In 1940 he created the character 'La Vaca Aurora' in the magazine Cara Sucia, and the strip was later continued in Anteojito.
