This set meets the descriptions of a Standard set No.460 from 1917.
Razor is Nickel plated.
Marking on handle PAT. NOV. 15,04 and serial number E332049 marked on the base plate, indicating the year 1917.
The razor is in excellent shape overall beside the typical crack on handle.
Can be forgiven given its age, and is not affecting the razor function.
There is a very little play between the cap and posts - but it disappears once a blade is inserted.
I guess it can be forgiven for a razor more than 110 years old.
Other markings: Gillette Diamond trademark / Made in USA
The box is in poor condition, but is complete with the 2 blades bank.
One of them containing vintage Gillette blades (5 Pcs).
