The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a vtg Welby battery operated clock with a maple wood framing, medium stained wood with a frontal opening that serves as a planter. Good condition with age related issues. The clock wood is maple, framed, has a decorative top that features a center cutout. Side panels at front with groove in design in front of planter box. The face of the clock is maybe cardboard and it has a center red star design with blue small balls printed on face center. Hands are black, the second hand is a metallic red ish. A metal circle above the six, unsure of what it is. Sold as found. Hands appear original to clock. The movement maybe had an older quartz movement tht may have been replaced. The clock works with a double A battery; not included. The wood has dirt and dust in crevices. There could be subtle wood wear in spots like under face of clock near inside of planter, a white tinge in wood. A wear spot nick in wood on top curve arm of planter box. The backside, a masonite square on top where face is. A tape patch on board, dirt, holes, nicks and scuffs. The movement itself has a metal hook above as a framing option. There are two pieces of black tape on frame wire; cannot explain. Wood on backside has nicks, age, dirt, an uneven cut in wood panel on left side, in between panels; not like that on right side. Could be a subtle wood split from backside at vertical top near cutout. It seems to show through the other side; not a big deterrant. The planter may have separations on sides where it angles. Dark line in wood on left side near angle in maple; as found. A cool mcm piece. See all pics for they are part of description. May have other issues not mentioned but mentioned most significant. 9" X 14.75" X 5.25". Clock face is 6.5" X 7".
