3M Vinyl film is the industry standard for cut graphics and will provide the absolute best quality and durability not to mention the ease of installation. 3M wrap film has air release technology that will allow air to escape providing an installation without bubbles. All other films available online will NOT last as long and are extremely difficult to install, subject to bubbles and installation a nightmare.
Recommendations for installation:
Align the graphics on the panel by measuring each side and making sure the graphics are centered. Use masking tape on both sides of the decal to hold the vinyl in place. Cut off 4-6 inches of the paper liner on the top and squeegee vinyl to the panel. Then slowy apply the rest of the vinyl by removing the liner as you work your way down. Use a heat gun to warm up the vinyl as needed to soften the vinyl as you squeegee vinyl into the bends and curves of the truck panel. If you get a crease just peel back and warm up the vinyl again to smooth it out. 3M vinyl goes back to being smooth when it is warmed up with the heat gun. Work your way into all the edges and cut off the extra material on the edges with a x-acto blade or break away knife.
