Weathered and a little tarnished 

Antiqued brass look. Please see pics for more detail. 

Upon closer inspection I believe it is brass. Magnet does not stick to it. I’ve added pics of back side. You can see where the screws that hold the actual knocker are attached. Appears brassy and shiny.  Also other areas that have received a little wear seem to be brass. 

Still needs some cleaning and polishing.
