This is an Estate Fresh old Pickle or BonBon Dish from a local Estate home.  Its a Fine Floral Pattern Meriden Silverplate Pickle Dish or BonBon Candy Dish w Claw Foot Tongs Included.  A nice fancy border dish in old patina and no issues, clearly marked on the bottom " Meriden ".  The Meriden Britannia Company was formed in 1852 in Meriden, Connecticut, as a manufacturing company focused on producing wares in britannia metal. It became, for a time, the largest silverware company in the world.   Set comes in very nice condition as described above and pictured.   I do not believe these tongs were original to the dish, but they work well with it and it does carry a similar flower design along with nice "claws" at the bottom.  A very cool set.
