All-wave military radio "MAYAK-2" with universal power (from batteries or from a network of 220 volts) is designed to receive broadcasts with amplitude modulation in the bands DV, SV and KV and frequency modulation in the UHF band. The radio receiver is efficient at ambient temperature from - 10 to + 50С and relative humidity up to 95% at 25С. Rated output power - 1 W.
Radio "Mayak - 2" is going with all that you see at the pictures (Leather case+belt, pasport, scheme, and cables).
This radios is based on production models, "geologist" and "Orion". According to the scheme and design match the production model "Orion-301". Radio "Mayak-M" and "Mayak-2" made by order of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the political officers. The difference between the radio "Mayak-2" from the "Mayak-M" in the presence of VHF.
Receiver "Mayak-2" was produced in the USSR Ministry of Defense order. And it can not be called civil because I never have been on sale in shops.
