Reproduction WWII German MG round rim Blendschutzbrille sunglasses with acetate faux tortoise shell frames and green UV lenses. Vintage look and feel with modern durability and protection. These sunglasses adhere to all FDA requirements.

This is a very stylish pair of sunglasses that really stands out and would be just as good for everyday use as for reenacting. The style of the glasses and the fit is like the original; they are relatively sleek compared with the bulky modern glasses people are used to these days. See the original photos to get an idea of how they are supposed to fit (original photos for reference only, not included). No, their heads were not particularly smaller back then, they just had a different style. They not only look the part, but putting them on feels like wearing original period glasses. Inside the arm they are marked "Ges. Gesch." (a common period marking similar to a patent)

Dimensions: 4 7/8" between the arms, arm length to the start of the bend is 3 3/4".

This style is appropriate for any period of the war. These closely replicate one of the many versions that were issued to drivers, machine gunners, etc. These are not an exact copy of any one pair, but rather a combination of the best features selected for durability and style. These are the largest size I feel comfortable making to maintain the correct look without being too oversized. They are more narrow than modern sunglasses. Very comparable to original Dienstbrille in size.

These are designer quality sunglasses custom made to our specifications. They are copied from an original pair and made exclusively for War's End Shop. The actual suggested retail was several hundred dollars and they do feel like expensive sunglasses. You can really treat yourself without spending designer sunglasses money. See my other listings for more reproduction WWII (US & German) sunglasses.

I DO COMBINE SHIPPING! I tried to have it set up to automatically combine shipping costs, but that doesn't always work. If you feel it is not correctly combining shipping, please write in the order notes "combine shipping" or something of that nature when you order (not as a separate message). The note in the order flags it for me so it is easier for me to keep track and refund accordingly. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven't figured it out, so this is my best option at the moment.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I must declare FULL VALUE on customs forms. This means you may have to pay customs fees upon arrival.
