Originalearly-war made carrying sling for the DP-28, a Russian light machine gun.

The sling is made of khaki canvas and leather straps. There is a metal buckle on one end of the sling and a pin on another. The leather ends are made of buckskin - this is an old-fashioned method of leather working. The post-war items, for example, were made of tanned leather. There is a moving leather pad in the middle of the sling, which can make carrying the gun easier. Sling length is around 48 inches.

The sling is fully adjustable and is in good cosmetic and working condition and is ready for use or display. These are original Russian manufacture not recent Chinese, Indian or Bulgarian. All slings have ink markings. The markings will vary: someare very clear and some are smudged.
