Original hand colored wood block engraving from drawings by the famous ornithological artist Edward Lear.  These works were drawn by Lear several years after his large folio parrot study was published in 1832, copies of which are extremely rare with individual pieces selling for thousands of dollars each. Good to very good condition: please note the "age toning" of the paper and occasional imperfections to the paper edges not effecting the image.
