EARLY ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON HAND CARVED STOOL. 1930s

An early Robert Mouseman Thompson arts and crafts stool, hand carved from English oak with the signature mouse running up one leg. It dates to the 1930s, so almost officially an antique piece of Mouseman furniture, so very sought after. It has some wear consistent with the age of the piece, a small old chip to the mouse, some cracks to one leg, some stains, a tear to the leather seat etc, wear typical of a stool that has been used and is almost 100 years old. It has its original leather seat and is structurally sound. I've taken quite a few pictures, so please use eBay's zoom facility for a closer look at the condition. It measures 47cms x 41cms x 36cms. A superb, early arts and crafts piece.

I can deliver to buyers in County Durham, North Yorkshire, Cumbria, Tyne and Wear, and Northumberland for £30. Collection preferred, I live a few miles north of Durham. Potential buyers are welcome to view the stool before purchasing, just get in touch to arrange.

I also have some Mouseman mini nut bowl, a pin tray, and a 1950s bowl, a double bed, a 1960s stool, along with some arts and crafts pieces by Wrenman and Beaverman too - please see my other items.
