I obtained this as part of an auction lot from England. There was a coin I wanted, and this was part of the lot.
I had to research a bit here to discover what it was.
For the 1986 Commonwealth Games, there were a few coins issued.
The most common seems to be the proof coin, which has a .925 fineness.
The one I have seems to be the BU version, which is .500 fineness and seems to have about the same mintage as the Proof version.
The outer case is different between the 2 versions and the finish is of course different, other than that they are hard to tell them apart.
Mintage number 58,881, about 1000 less than the Proof, is what I am seeing.
Box in nice shape as is the COA.
