FROM THE DUSTJACKET:
Jago, the beautiful man-hating stallion, has become a
legend throughout the Australian outback.
Triumphant in his freedom, he leads a herd of spirited wild horses,
which he guards with savage jealousy.
While on holiday with her husband in Australia, it becomes
Ann Henderson’s dearest wish to capture one of Jago’s spirited fillies and take
her back as broodmare for the Leysham stud.
To do so, they must learn to ride long distances in the gruelling heat,
chance their lives against deadly snakes and a blinding dust storm, and suffer
parching thirst.
At last they come face to face with Jago, the untamed. The easiest part of their task is over. The fight is yet to come.
This is an outstanding sequel to Jago, of which the T.L.S
wrote: “Miss Peel has an astonishing power of entering into the temperament of
the horse and conveys his reactions brilliantly”.

markings.
Interior is bright, solid to tight, crisp, and very clean.
Dustjacket shows light to moderate wear. The colors remain bright, and the dustjacket
