Over the years I have built
up quite a collection of Retro 80's and 90's ski suits. It's now time to let them
out onto the Slopes for people to enjoy as much as my mates and I have.

They will give you the best quality
and Retro colour mix/design available.
The suits are pretty much all at an 8
(or higher) out of 10 level. Please bear in mind that they are Retro Suits and
the 80's and 90's where now 20 to 30 years ago. The suits keep very well though
as they are normally only worn for short times (1 -2 weeks a year) each year.
Some have been locked up and not seen the snow for many years so are in very
good or excellent condition for their age.
Its normal for them to have the odd
ski mark/damage to the lower inside legs but this will be minimum (if a cut
less than 20mm and 2 or less). Small marks and small wear imperfections would
be expected for items this age, but as I say they were collected for there make
and 80/90's look so are all in very good condition for their age.
If a Suit/Jacket has more use/wear or
damage/ stains marks than an 8/10 suit should, it will be listed in the description.
The weather proofing quality of the
materials that they are made of is (as would be expected) not of the same level
as of today but we have used them in Canada, France, Austria, Italy with no
problems with wet or cold. Layer up as normal and you'll be fine.
I would recommend that you get some
water proofer (mountain warehouse sell it) and give it a proof wash.
Some of the shell suit type material
ones (normally unbranded/no name) wouldn't be good in the rain or slushy snow. Unfortunately,
early 80's C&A own brand (ask your mum) Rodeo ones which have great
patterns and colour designs are one of this type but you have to weigh up that
Neon Mash up colour scheme.
Saying that there are also some high
end makes which have Gore-Tex material used.
There is both Male and Female suits
sold and some of these would be unisex. Men have worn both male and female
suits with no issue but please check sizes and info listed.
Some retro suits are a baggy fit with
Bat Wing cut so are roomy in the upper body, others like some Nevica's are more
of a tailored cut so less roomy. I will state how it fits to me or my Son and you
can gauge from the Label Size, Measurements and this as to if it would suit
you.
