Vintage theatre lampStrand Patt 23 circa 1950s mounted on a genuine vintage wooden tripod.

Of the many lampsthat I have restored over the years, this combination of lamp and tripod is oneof my favourites. It makes a striking feature with the juxtaposition of hardengineered metal lamp body and softer, warm-coloured, hand crafted wooden tripodlegs...a genuinely beautiful piece of industrial design history.

Restored to aprofessional standard and rewired (please see close up photos for quality ofpolish and finish). Converted to take a standard B22 bayonet bulb.

In-line switch andheat resistant flex/cable. 

The wooden tripod isalso vintage, circa 1920s, and not a modern reproduction (for reference mostvintage Strand lamps sold on Ebay are mounted on modern reproductiontripods).
