Fine silk damask napkin, richly decorated with the Russian Imperial eagle and ciphers of Tsar Nicholas II. 

Provenance: Given to the Lancashire Engineer W. Minty while on a trade mission to Soviet Russia in the 1920s. Minty was a director of the engineering firm Messrs J. Foster and Sons Ltd. in Blackburn.
