The Scott scale RC is Scott’s most premium HT mountain bike. Featuring their stiffest carbon fibre HMX, the frame responds just as well compared to the newest of hardtails from any of the big manufacturers. As well as having a premium frame, and the bike comes with the components to match, such as carbon handlebars, carbon groupset and carbon seat post. A frame from Scott, with HMX carbon fibre will cost £7000, making this a fantastic alternative, compared to the current bikes on offer today. There are marks across the frame, with the most notable being pictured last. The addition of the new chain, chainring and bottom bracket means that pedalling is as smooth as a bike that was bought new from the manufacturer. The weight of the bike is also an incredibly impressive feat, weighing in at less than 10kg, making this one of the lightest bikes available. The brakes have been bled with new fluid, and can confirm that they are firm, with brand new pads in the front and rear. The rotor alignment also means that the brakes are not rubbing, and the lubrication of the forks, allows for smooth operation, without squeaks (pressure was also added). The bike will be serviced and checked over properly before being sent out so, the buyer is pleased with their purchase.
