England or France 1831: The Old Mill, the River, and the Ducks

From a sidewalk flea market in Paris comes this lovely, early 19th century gouache on paper depicting an old mill building, a river flowing, some vegetation and some ducks. We also catch a glimpse of the miller, far right, walking up some stairs. Full of detail and very nostalgic!

Dimensions are about 6.5 inches by 5.5 inches. The paper has toned over the years, and there are some traces of humidity staining. Condition otherwise is good. I read, lower right, a date: May 2, 1831. Desirable, and so modestly priced! Shipping within the U.S. will be $8.
