VINTAGE ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON KIDNEY SHAPED CHEESE BOARD

A superb vintage Mouseman kidney shaped cheese board, hand carved from English oak with a particularly well carved signature mouse on the handle. It is in very good condition with great patina. It doesn't have any knife marks to the board, it looks like it has only ever been used for display. It measures 40 x 18 x 2cms. It has been hand adzed to the top surface and is a wonderful dark honey colour. These kidney shaped boards are not as common as the oval shaped boards, so are more sought after, especially the vintage examples. A great vintage Mouseman cheese board.
