This is the rare, original bronze version of the well-known doorstop in the form of a seated German shepherd. Please note that it is solid bronze, not the common cast-iron version. The dog is 6.25” high, and weighs 477 grams (just under 17 oz). No markings. I believe it was made around 1920.

Condition is excellent. Beautiful, rich bronze coloring.
