CASE:
Superb vintage Comitti of London musical regulator wall clock
Original solid mahogany case with original colour and finish
The case has a small slimline design with an arched top which has inlaid shell decoration to it and their is a wooden finial to either side of the arched pediment
Glass front door in good condition with 1/2 pillars down either side and 2 hook clasps to hold it shut
The case is in great original condition untouched
DIAL:
Original enamel dial with its brass bezel
Roman numerals & original hands
Dial is in good original condition and is signed by the makers Comitti of London
Some wear around the key entry points
On the side of the dial their is a silent selection lever
MECHANISM:
Original 8 day musical regulator movement
The movement plays the Westminster chime tune every 1/4 hour then on the hour after the musical chime has finished it will strike the amount of hours on 3 of the rods
Movement is in full working order keeping good time and chiming every 1/4 hour as it should as you can see in the video above
Original gridiron pendulum & new winding key to wind it
The clock measures 24 inches high x 8.75 inches wide x 5.75 inches deep
