The item is new, never used, but does not come in original packaging because they were packed in lots of 5. 018 uf is a great capacitance to use with Neck Position Humbucker pickup. It allows more high frequency signal to pass than a traditional .022uf giving a brighter more treble sound (and has a much lower price point than .022uf Vitamin Q’s). Especially nice if you are playing a Mahogany body guitar like a Les Paul.
