For sale is a Fender Precision Bass, made in Japan between 1984-87, according to the serial number. It is in excellent working condition and has recently been served by Richard Meyrick Guitars in Abergavenny. I have owned the guitar for about 6 years although I haven't used it in the last few years and now reluctantly am selling it. This a fantastic guitar and sounds wonderful, bridging the gap between a vintage p bass and something that feels more modern. As the pictures show there has been a number of upgrades that were made shortly before I purchased it. The bridge has been replaced with an Omega Bass bridge and one jazz bass pickup has been installed to compliment the sound. Both of which additions work perfectly and give it well rounded, charismatic sound. The bass has been very well looked after and when it wasn't in use and was kept in a soft guitar case indoors and has been serviced in preparation for selling, as I mentioned. The bass is a genuine Fender, made in Japan between 1984-87 according to serial number identification forums. The serial number is E829145 and is on the headstock, below the Fender logo. This guitar is available for collection in Abergavenny or UK postage can be arranged. Please note, this guitar is being sold on my Son's behalf who is at university. I'm happy to answer any questions and forward them to him.
