Indios imaginarios e indios reales en los relatos de la conquista de México (Spanish Edition)
by Guy Rozat Dupeyron

In Spanish. 1993 signed and inscribed first edition, Tava Editorial (Mexico City, Mexico), 6 1/2 x 8 7/8 inches tall paperbound, xiii, 193 pp. Very slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers. On the blank front free-endpaper, nicely inscribed and signed by the author to the prior owner, Murdo J. MacLeod (b. 1935), a Scottish historian of Latin America, who published extensively on the history of colonial-era Central America, the Caribbean, and the Atlantic world. Vertical crease, barely visible, to the last 50 pages or so. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this uncommon history.

'Imaginary Indians and real Indians in the stories of the conquest of Mexico.'
