Antique Mid-19th Century Micro Beaded Reticule with original wooden box; purchased from Chinese Curio Co. of Fifth Ave NY.

This small micro-beaded drawstring bag depicts a homestead with a lush field, and a shepherd watching over the livestock. A nice array of colors used in the beadwork. The pattern repeats on each side. 

This item is antique and shows age and wear. There are several holes and some areas where this bag was inexpertly repaired. The lining is intact but unattached in some spots.

The box is wooden with a silky overlay, that has deteriorated over the years. Inside the bottom is velvet, and the top satin is stamped:

"Long Sang Ti

Chinese Curio Co Ltd.

293 FIFTH AVE. N.Y."
