Up for bid is a cast iron wrench from Hayes Wheel Company from Jackson, Michigan. It was produced in the early 1900s.


Hayes Wheel Company was founded in 1908. At one time, they produced about half of all automotive wheel hubs in the United States.


This wrench measures about 15.5 inches long and 4.5 inches at its widest point. There is one opening for a nut. The letters are raised and painted light blue.


The back reads: “Pattern W-5”


Towards the thin end, the wrench is bent. Please see the last two photos.
