A tripod dolly enables your tripod to move around on wheels, which is ideal for capturing smooth tracking shots or rapid/easy re-positioning of the tripod and provides a very stable base for it.

The Velbon DL-11 is a lightweight tripod dolly with a wheel locking system. It also features two-section calibrated  telescopic arms (which allow it to be adjusted for the varying leg-spread of different tripods or tripod heights). 3 No. adjustable clamps secure the tripod feet firmly to the dolly.  The diameter of the leg-spread is from 61 to 84 cm. The dolly folds down as shown for easy carriage/storage.  Weighs approx 1.1kg.

 The DL-11 dolly fits almost any tripod (and, for example, is ideal for the Velbon video tripod DV-7000).

When a fixed tripod position is preferred over a mobile one, sturdy ‘flip-down’ rubber-capped feet can be deployed as an alternative to the wheels (see Photo No. 9).

Photos 5 to 9 inclusive are of the actual item for sale.  The final two photos show a very similar dolly (of a different brand) in use.

This dolly is in excellent condition with only very minor marks of prior usage. One of the knobs to the tripod feet locking clamps appears to have been replaced – this is purely cosmetic and has no effect upon usage.
