"Eroded Brillo Box", released by Daniel Arsham in 2020

ERODED BRILLO BOX is a sculpture found in a future archaeological dig site using Warhol’s iconic 1964 Brillo Box as the base. In collaboration with The Andy Warhol Museum, Arsham has been granted access to the Warhol archives. The passing of time has transformed the object from its original materials into a sculpture inspired by the original Arsham work made of quartz crystal and other calcified geological materials.

Each edition is 9.5" in height and weighs 15lbs. ERODED BRILLO BOX comes in Arsham studio-designed housing with die-cut foam, sealing label, and a pair of white art handling gloves. This is an edition of 500 pieces, and each ERODED BRILLO BOX includes an Arsham Editions holographic label verifying its edition number and authenticity.
