Vintage 2004 Handmade Quilt Cowgirl Western Rodeo Horse Toddler Crib Lap Blanket 62”x41”

I don't know anything about the production of quilts, but I do know this is absolutely fantastic.

It's a lap quilt, or perfect for a toddler bed or wall hanging. It measures 41"W x 62"L. It's double sided.

It was handmade in 2004 by someone calling themselves the "Saddle Wench".

One side is a single piece of black fabric with colorful pretty pinup cowgirls in an all-over print.

The other side is pieced together with coordinating fabric squares in a variety of Old West styles. There are horses, rodeo cowboys, bandana fabric, portraits of Rodeo Queens, frontier, stars, horseshoes, flags, plaids and more. They are expertly meshed together to create a fabulous ensemble of imagery.

The quilting stitches are looping and swirling around with stars stitched randomly to join the front and back.

The narrow border edge is red bandana and the next wider edging is yellow bandana. After that is a black bandana strip.

It's in amazing, bright and fresh condition with no damage which is super cool considering it is 20 years old. Even the signature square is awesome.

Don't let this one get away! It's definitely a one-of-a-kind item that is destined to become a cherished family heirloom.
