This rare 1970 Corvette convertible high horsepower 4 speed Muncie is truly a real barn find. Looks like it was last titled in 1989. I haven’t heard this car run however I’m guessing it will run, as it is wrecked and was running when it was wrecked. For a few bucks I’m sure I could put fuel and battery to it and fire it up.

This is a factory 350 horsepower car, however, as you can see with the number on the engine it is a CE number so it is a Chevrolet serviced number with part of the VIn stamped on it. So I’m guessing that someone bought the car new, I’m guessing the engine went bad and GM put a new engine in it and stamped the block with the VIN number. However it has tale tale signs that it may have had a 370 horsepower L79 engine in it. However I will not guarantee it. It does have screw in studs and guide plates which the L79 came with. The engine does not have the original carburetor or intake. The engine does have the 186 small hump heads which came on the 1970 Corvettes.

If you’re really interested I will work with you to give you more information. I haven;t checked the transmission number. I did look under it and it does have a 4 speed Muncie in it. I’m selling this car as a parts car. It has a Kentucky title, however it is in archive in Frankfort and may take some time to get according to my local courthouse. I’d be glad to help get it but I will not guarantee a title with this car. Unless it is the only way you are going to buy it, then we will talk numbers and I’ll guarantee a title. It has many good parts on it. We rolled the top up on it and hadn’t been rolled up in probably 30 years. It has many great parts as you can see. If you do hit buy it now you are buying this car as-as. We are not guaranteeing anything on this car including the mileage.

If you want the car without the engine or transmission, Make me a fair offer.
