Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Flower Vase Stand

Used for the display of flower vases, ikebana arrangements, bonsai, and more, this classic, rectangular-shaped kadai has a unique spotted pattern reminiscent of wood grain or water ripples. The design is a combination of black and an orangish-brown/copper lacquer with sparkling abalone/mother-of-pearl flecks (raden).

• Good condition considering its age. Scratches on top surface. One chip on edge and some small ones on legs. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos. 
• We acquired this item from the famous Osu Antique Market in Nagoya, Japan
