Very Old Sterling Silver Signet Ring Greek or Native American Indian Engravings Size 6.5

** Piece looks very unusual to me, looks to be handmade but many centuries ago.  There is no sterling silver stamp but i am a jeweler and the piece clearly looks like silver, however what initially confused me was there is some green patina forming.  Generally these types of patinas arrive on copper or bronze, but i am inexperienced in silver that is hundreds of years old.  The engraving on the piece would have been the first part to turn green if it was plated, however it has turned dark black which is classic old sterling silver.  Also the piece looks very crud and not modern in creation, and the ring size is oval.  I took the size of the ring on a standard round ring mandrel, but keep in mind this ring is oval on the inside so the size may be a little off.   Ring diameter is approximately .75" and weighs 7.6 Grams.
