Description

Are you able to play with the original sound of the pedal?

Pedal Power ISO-5 is a compact analog power supply that guarantees world-class performance. It is in high demand as an additional power supply for small pedalboards or large boards.
Although the ISO-5 is small, it allows you to power various types of effectors with one unit.

The main cause of hum noise is ground loops caused by unnecessary grounds.
By making each power supply output completely independent, Pedal Power eliminates the mutual sound interference of each effector caused by the power supply. You can demonstrate the original performance of that effector.
Pedal power is the only one designed in this way, and you won't get this kind of performance with a power supply that only distributes multiple outputs.

[Short circuit protection]
Pedal Power is equipped with short circuit protection.
If you continue to use it in a poor environment, the main unit may occasionally overheat.
At that time, short circuit protection is activated and protects the effector you are using from damage.

[Conversion to high voltage and high current]
Voodoo Lab's voltage doubling cable allows you to combine two outputs to provide double the voltage. By connecting two 9V ports, you can supply 18V power, and by combining the 12V output, you can supply 24V power.
Similarly, the current consumption can be doubled by connecting two outputs using a current doubling cable.

*Note) When connecting outputs, please connect outputs with the same voltage and current.

Pedal Power: 3 elements
■Isolation
When multiple effectors are connected at once, ground loops can occur with shared ground types, causing hum noise.
The Pedal Power series uses a method called isolation where all output grounds are completely isolated.
Thanks to the isolation, the effectors prevent each other's sound quality from interfering with each other, and provide a stable power source that allows everything from vintage overdrives to high-power digital effects to perform as they should.

■Toroidal Transformers
Transformers integrated with power cords generate magnetic fields around them that can pick up hum from nearby audio radio waves. Pedal Power uses an ultra-low noise custom toroidal transformer with magnetic coils on each output. Therefore, noiseless power is supplied to effectors that are easily affected by noise.

■Linear power supply
Switching power supplies are small and inexpensive, but they generate noise and are not suitable for powering effectors.
Pedal Power uses a linear power supply with almost no ripple or noise, providing clean and stable power at the highest audio level.

"Based on our rigorous testing, we recommend the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus for noise, stability, and reliability. Especially when using multiple pedals, independent outputs eliminate ground loops, The noise level is unmeasurable, amazing!”

"I've had many troubles with off-the-shelf power supplies and custom-made power supplies over the years, but with Pedal Power, the moment I plugged in all the pedals, there was no hum or other problems."
