CONDITION

Used - checked in and removed from a working Trane Rooftop Unit by an HVAC Professional.


Inspected after removal to make sure there were no broken or loose parts or bad solder connections.


This was removed from a Trane RTU / Packaged Unit that was cleaned regularly under a maintenance contract, filters changed regularly, etc. It was one of 18 Trane RTU /Packaged Units we replaced in the same job. I personally observed the unit this part was removed from starting, running, and shutting down properly in both AC and heating modes.


Please see photos. The part you will receive is the part in the photos.


After taking photos it was wrapped securely in static to protect it. No one else has handled it since it was checked. You will receive it still packed in that static guard.

Successfully servicing HVAC equipment and diagnosing their issues requires a knowledge of how the equipment works, how to track down the source of issues and successfully resolve them.


The majority of my parts are purchased by other HVAC professionals. HVAC professionals typically complete thousands of hours of training and hands-on experience; they know how to diagnose and fix issues, and they rarely have problems when they purchase my parts…. its been over two years since an HVAC professional bought a part from me and asked to return it….. and even that one, was because he purchased the wrong part number.


If you are trying to fix your own equipment, or you are using someone to fix it that is not a licensed and insured HVAC technician, please understand, it is much more likely you could have an issue. People trying to fix their own equipment, often misdiagnose the need for the part they purchase, they buy the wrong part, or they install it incorrectly.


That’s why my guarantee is different for Licensed HVAC Professionals than it is for others.


If you are a licensed HVAC professional, and you purchase this part shipping it to a registered HVAC business address, I guarantee it will work properly when it arrives. Any issues must be reported within seven days to give you time to install and check it.


To all others, please understand you are purchasing this part at your risk and not mine. If you purchase this part, and it fails to fix your issue or you purchase the wrong part, it cannot be returned.


My policy is no different than most HVAC supply companies - even when selling to HVAC professionals, most HVAC supply businesses will not accept returns of parts like control boards unless they are unopened.
