An individually numbered certificate from Altas Experiment at CERN, guaranteing authenticity of 0.999 fine silver. Coin is 40mm diameter. The coin is brilliant mirror finish. The photos show reflections of my iPhone while taking the photos.

This was a limited mintage of 500 coins. The coin depicts the Higgs event and on the obverse, the Altas Experiment. I am offering for sale numbers 465, 466, 470, 490, 491, 493, 494, 495 and 496. If you want a particular number, please let me know and I’ll send it out if I have not sold it.

The coin sits in a hardboard folder (200 x 160 x 20mm, when closed). The folder contains 3 photo cards, an information booklet, the coin and certificate of authenticity. Every folder is in excellent condition.

These coins were only available to purchase if you visited the Atlas Experiment in person and limited to only 500. Needless to say, they sold very quickly, being a lovely memento of both Atlas and Peter Higgs
