You are invited to bid on this interesting vintage sporting medal, made by Huguenin of Le Locle in Switzerland. It was awarded at a shooting tournament sponsored by various Swiss shooting associations, the initials of which are shown on the front of the medal. The medal is made of a silver coloured metal, possibly pewter and features a bricklayer plying his trade, with a handgun above. It bears the Huguenin name on the back, and on the back it says 'The Swiss at Work' in 3 languages. The front bears the initials of the designer - JR. It comes with its original ribbon and bar with pin giving the year, and a Swiss cross pin to the ribbon. The medal (excluding ribbon & bar) measures 4cm by 3.4cm. It is in generally good condition with minor rubbing/scuffing.

Please see photos for full condition.

An interesting & attractive medal, and a fine addition to your sporting or medal collection. I am currently selling more sporting medals, so please see my other auctions for more interesting bargains.  I list lots of varied and interesting antique and vintage pieces, so please keep an eye on my other auctions and add me to your favourites list. I tend to sell items in roughly themed batches, so while I might be selling tins, toys or tobacciana now, I could be selling vanity items, glassware, tribal art or jewellery next.

Please note, the shipping quoted does not include tracking. If the item sells for more than £20.00, tracking will be required and the postage costs will be amended accordingly on your invoice. If you win the item and it sells for less than £20, let me know if you would still like it to be sent by tracked mail, and I will send a revised invoice.

Please note, I ship worldwide on all my items where possible and will happily combine shipping costs on multiple purchases wherever possible up to a total weight of 2kg.
