Rare and exceptional Antique French Sterling Silver and vermeil (Gold-plated on Sterling silver) 4 pcs Hors d'Oeuvre pastry, dessert, luncheon or Foie gras Service set .

Is a rare model style Ferrure (ironwork) pattern inspired by Ironworks and wrought-iron gates of the French Castles of the 18th century . The decoration is hand-made. Circa 19th century.

Signed by silversmith Emile Puiforcat

Marked with French silver garantee hallmarks Minerva 1 head titre mark, 950/1000 First French silver standard (higher then sterling 925/1000)

The silversmith mark surrounded on the photo: E P and knife for : Emile Puiforcat registed 10 Mars 1853 It was installed à Paris 16 rue Chapon – Paris.

Weight of the set 4pcs : 3,95oz (112grams)

Dimension of ustentils : Between 5,98in (15,2 cms) for the biggest and 4,88in (12,40 cms) for the smallest.
