From an old-time collection of U. S. coins and currency, Lincoln Gold & Coin is pleased to offer this $50 Confederate States Bond issued May 1, 1861. It was among the first bonds issued at Montgomery by an act of the CSA Congress dated February 28, 1861. It’s Criswell number 5 and Ball number 2.
This historic bond is ideal for framing and is just part of a larger collection of obsolete and Southern states currency available online and at our store in Northern California.
