This is a door mounted water pail/bucket hook for RuffLand Kennels (video shows leash hook option, this just is a flat plate on the front). It is designed to be installed with one hand and completely from outside the kennel. It uses a sliding locking plate to secure it to the door. It is very secure and won't come off without unlocking it. It also has 2 detents inside the pail clip to securely hold both the thick and thin handled buckets. The bucket won't easily get knocked out of the hook. We prioritize safety over all else! This is designed to be near impossible for a dog to pull it into the kennel with minimal plastic sticking inside the kennel and soft edges to limit chewing.
This is 3D printed with PETG plastic that has natural UV resistance so the color won't fade and the plastic won't degrade over time, even in direct sunlight. It also has great thermal resistance so it won't get soft and deform if left outside or in a hot car like PLA will.
There are several colors to choose from. If you don't see a color listed that you'd like, send a message and inquire about it. We may be able to order filament in your desired color.
To install:
- Be sure the lock plate is in the unlocked position (sticking out from the bottom of the hook)
- Slip the top in to the door in the desired spot, then slip the bottom in after.
- Pull down on the hook to be sure it slides down over the door bar.
- While applying downward pressure on the hook, push up on the lock plate.
- Do the opposite to remove.

- These are printed in black PETG plastic. This plastic can start to get soft at temperatures of 190*F. Even in extreme environments this shouldn't be an issue. PETG parts have been used in vehicles and outdoors for long periods of time without negative effects.
- This is a 3D printed part, this means not all parts will appear or fit exactly the same. I do not accept returns due to it being made to order, however If you have an issue with your part, please contact me and we can work out the issue together.
- If you break it due to over-tightening a screw or through use, you can fix it with some super glue or you can message me to purchase a replacement part.
- This is a made to order part so please allow time for printing, processing, and shipping.
- Shipping damage must be reported within 3 days of receiving the item. After this time a return/refund will not be accepted nor will a replacement part be sent out due to shipping damage.
