• Welsh Harlequins adapt well to new surroundings and nearly any type of environmental condition. They are cold hardy, docile, and calm in nature. Their favorite daily activity is to foraging looking for a tasty treats. Hens of this breed are prone to laying between 250 to 330 large white eggs per year. Welsh Harlequins are on the Rare Breed Survival Trust list.

We do everything we can to protect fertile eggs by storing at the correct temperature and rotating them frequently. We regularly hatch our own chicks via an our professionally calibrated incubators or a broody hen to test fertility; We only sell eggs from the breeds that are between 80% and 100% fertility rate, nevertheless we cannot guarantee that the hatching eggs will hatch, as they go through the postal system, varied incubation methods and/or nature. We have no control over what happens to them once they leave us.

Once hatching eggs leave our facility, we lose the control of how they are handled in transit. There is always a risk that the eggs could be compromised by the postage, therefore we cannot guarantee the fertility of an egg/eggs after it has been through transit.

The fertility of the eggs are guaranteed only when they are personally collected from us.

As fertile eggs are perishable, we are not able to accept cancellation/return or offer a refund, once the eggs have been despatched.

Eggs will be sent via 1st class or special delivery through Monday to Thursday.
Posted only to UK addresses.

From our experiences, the ubiquitous polystyrene boxes used by most sellers are NOT the best method of posting eggs, we have our own method of packaging and securing the eggs to minimise damage.
