MANTLE VASES matched pair, back stamp shield with Saxon E below. They show two different scenes, a boy and a girl on the left playing a flute and on the right playing a lute. Backs are plain and these were meant to sit on a bracket or shelf. Manufactured by Conta & Bochme of Poessneck, Germany, circa 1891 to 1900. The back stamp is shown “The Vogels” Conta & bochme Porcelain Iden.
