Up for auction is this MK 2, Sabre 35.   It is in good used mechanical and cosmetic condition. Nothing is bent or broken,  however the exhaust stack has had a cosmetic repair (see close up image) and there is some damage to the cast Cylinder Head ( good used Cylinder  Head included in sale). Compression is fair to good but does bleed off if turned over slowly. It turns over smoothly, although there is some wear evident in the Con Rod. It  presents pretty well for an almost 70 year old.

This Sabre is stamped (IFS 313) indicating that it was once in the collection of Ivor F (Stowe).

The black steel integral cooling fins are in good used condition. The spare cast Cylinder head included in this sale could be swapped out with the damaged one, rectifying this flaw. The NVA  is factory original  and generally it does not appear to have had any abuse. The mounting lugs are in fair used condition with washer marks and have been drilled oversize.

The intake Venturi is in very good used condition. However as previously mentioned the exhaust stack has had the trailing edge filled with JB Weld or similar to fill hole filed by a previous owner.

Hard to find in this shape 69 years down the track, would make a handsome addition to any collection.
