Up for auction is this Mohawk .29  Chief, Circa 1948.  It is in  good used mechanical and cosmetic condition. Nothing is bent broken or butcher with the exception of one broken out mounting lug hole and the inexplicable removal of two segments from the wavy Drive washer.   Compression is good although it does-bleed off. The NVA may not be factory original and the blue anodized alloy  tank is AWOL.

It has not been given any treatment with the dreaded pliers, although there are minute  scratches here and there, also some tool marks on one mounting lug and the aforementioned broken out hole. The integral steel cooling fins are in very good used condition, as is blue anodized cam cover with only minor scratches.

Apparently designed and manufactured by  O.K. as a budget priced alternative to their more expensive range the marque existed only for a couple of years. (1947-8)
