Vintage Amish Quilt: family Heirloom from Holmes Co., OHIO circa late1800 - early1900
Heavy Winter Geometric and Tie Design

A lot of quilts were discovered in cedar storage of my in-law's estate.
They were all from the collection of Cora Schrock, born in 1900, from Holmes County, Ohio.  Also known as "Amish Country". While I do not know the exact dates, these were an heirloom of hers. One had a handwritten note attached from Cora, citing 1887, and one was stitched with 1881 and the maker's names.
Shared photos include the lot and the initialed 1881 panel.

One of the heavier quilts of the lot that does not appear to be used. I found about 3 patches close to the edge, that are a little frayed which I believe is due to age based upon location.
This patchwork and tie design using various blends of fabric that appears to include wool. This is a winter quilt with batting and a flannel plaid backing in rick darker color scheme. Please review photographs for condition and quality. Frayed pieces are not very visual upon view, I discovered as I was folding. Very well-made and crafted a is very old.
