This is a very rare vintage Sonic Youth T-Shirt from 1992. It was issued by their record company Geffen as a promotion t-shirt to promote the new album"Dirty". This is the original, much sought after Sonic Youth Dirty t-shirt. 100% original.
There's a DGC - David Geffen Company logo on the left arm and these t-shirts was never for sale and printed in very limited edition. The normal t-shirts released for retail sale later on in did not have the DGC logo on the arm.
The t-shirt is high quality from the brand Coastal Printworks Inc, 100% cotton, pre-shrunk.
I worked for BMG Records in Sweden and we ordered these t-shirts from Geffen Records in USA for giveaways and for record stores to promote the album with instore displays and for staff to wear in the store.
This is my personal t-shirt which I have had since 1992. This t-shirt has not been used that much and it is in very good condition, fresh, no smell, no holes or stains etc.

The measurements are 56 cm pit to pit and 72 cm from neck to bottom. Regular large, it is not oversized or “big” in size.

Close ups, photos of arm pits (no sweet yellow stains here...) inside out, as you can see, it is a tubular tee, no inside seams on the sides. The photos show a 32 year old t-shirt in really nice clean condition without flaws, holes etc etc. No issues. As mentioned in original description, I worked for the record label Geffen (BMG) in Sweden and we ordered these t-shirts from our mother label (Geffen) to use as giveaways to record store staff and for PR giveaways in magazines. I think we got 100 in total, I do not remember the exact number. I have had this tee since then. I do not have any other tee's or items left. This is it. Good luck with your bidding.
